What is Community Preparedness?
Community preparedness is the ability of communities to prepare for, withstand, and recover from inevitable incidents. It involves community-wide efforts to give citizens the training and education, and resources they need to prepare in advance. This includes Community engagement and preparation programs to provide resilience to communities.
