Our recent Regional Forum in Geraldton brought together representatives from across community services, government, regulators, financial institutions and local organisations and of course financial counsellors and capability workers for a powerful conversation about issues related to financial hardship across Western Australia’s Mid West. Under the theme Listening Locally | Acting Collectively, the forum created space for local voices, lived experience and sector expertise to sit alongside decision-makers. The result was a program of excellent presentations and honest conversations about what communities are experiencing, what services are seeing, and where collective effort is needed most.
