Budgeting Apps: Money managing apps are a great tool to help home budget planning after you have worked out your income and expenses. You can set how much you want to spend for each expense (e.g. $300 on food, $100 on petrol). When you spend money, it lets you know how much you have left to spend.   • Avoid recipes that need a special ingredient
  • Buy in bulk and freeze
  • Menu plan
  • Look for specials for products you will use frequently that have a long lifespan (e.g. toothpaste)

  • Shop based on what groceries are on sale (beware you don’t buy just because it is on special and then not use it)
