Our counsellors have strong experience working with alcohol and drug problems, other health concerns such as diabetes, family and relationship issues, grief, loss and domestic violence.We can either meet you one-to-one or offer the chance to join one of our groups. These group meetings are informal, open to ideas – and can be fun too.
Aboriginal Legal Service (ALSWA)
Legal representation and support services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Western Australia, including advocating in policy and law reform in submissions, at conferences and in the media.
Aboriginal Family Law Service
The AFLS provides legal and community education services for all Aboriginal people, including children, who have experienced family and domestic violence or sexual assault, including men, women and children. Our culturally secure services are delivered from six regional locations – Broome, Carnarvon, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie, Kununurra and Port Hedland.
Centrelink Indigenous Phone Services
Access for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to Centrelink services by phone from anywhere in Australia. This service assists you if you identify as an Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander or both who: lives in rural and remote parts of Australia and don’t have direct access to other facilities.
Telstra Helpline for Indigenous Australians
Indigenous Australians can speak to someone with a similar cultural background. The service will be operated exclusively by a specialist team of indigenous liaison officers on 1800 444 403.
Aboriginal Family Support Service – WHFS
The Aboriginal Family Support Service aims to support and strengthen Aboriginal grandparents and their families through the generations. The program provides information, advocacy, and referrals as well as group activities, respite camps and peer support groups.
