2021 FCAWA Conference
This year’s conference was well received and crammed full of amazing speakers!
HIGHLIGHTS OF DAY ONE: David Scaife (MLA) and Melanie Every (FCAWA) welcomed everyone. Followed by Kerry-Ann Winmar’s “Welcome to Country”.
Louise O’Reilly spoke about inclusion and diversity and how we can each embrace and pursue this in our lives.
Followed by Trish Hill Wall whose cultural awareness impacted us all.
Taryn Harvey and Ali Clements spoke about the importance of caring about mental health.

Participants could connect with each others during the marketplace and community connection hub.

HIGHLIGHTS OF DAY TWO: Anna Bligh, the CEO of ABA gave everyone an update about Banking Code of Practice
The Natural Disaster Panel provided insight into the recent natural disasters in WA with Chris Wheatcroft, Mandy Dehnel, Chris Gabelish, Andrew York and Tami Maitre.
The second day finished with with a Gala Dinner & Award Presentation with lots of dancing and fun!
